Intro to Scoliosis Yoga and Scoliosis Yoga

Learn to do yoga in a way that actually reduces rather than increases your scoliosis or kyphosis curves! And learn poses you can do at home, to keep straightening your back throughout the week! We have two ongoing yoga classes for scoliosis: an Intro class and a regular Scoliosis Yoga class. In the Intro class we discover your scoliosis or kyphosis pattern and learn about rotational breathing and how it can help to straighten your spine from inside you, using your breath. In the Scoliosis Yoga class, we practice specific poses, using the rotational breathing we learned in Intro, to stretch, strengthen, and straighten your back. These poses are modified individually for each person and done differently on each side, to accommodate each person's individual scoliosis or kyphosis curvature.

The Essential Low Back Program

If you suffer from chronic low back pain (whether or not you have scoliosis), this program is for you! This highly effective and self-empowering program is clinically proven. In class, students learn to relax, which relieves pain, then students learn poses to stretch and strengthen the back, to prevent future pain. The 6-week series includes a booklet and CD's for participants to do a daily practice at home, which keeps the back comfortable. Restore your back and regain your life!
